Decoración Alternativa para tus Espacios

Alternative Decoration for your Spaces

Many times the decoration of our home is limited to pictures and photographs placed on the walls or ceramic figures or other material as well as souvenirs, especially to decorate furniture such as bookcases, chests of drawers, bookshelves or coffee tables.

However, the decoration of our personal spaces can go beyond that, it is about observing around us objects of common use and a little creativity to adapt them to the different spaces of the home, so that they do not lose their functionality, but rather they can become versatile pieces.

But what are these types of pieces? Although there are an infinite number of them in this article we will mention only some in which we have been able to observe their decorative potential, in combination with other materials and textures, these are pieces whose main function is not to decorate, we refer to utensils used in the kitchen or personal use.

Can you imagine decorating a piece of furniture such as a chest of drawers or a chest of drawers with a water bottle?

The answer is yes, and in case it still sounds impossible to you, look at the image below, it is our classic COPPER BOTLLE that, besides being a very stylish bottle to drink water, can also be an excellent decorative piece, and that in combination with wood and forms a classic style, but at the same time modern.

A handcrafted piece of this metal always brings warmth and elegance to any corner of your home. Although the copper color is very imposing on almost any shade of wall, light colors make its presence stand out even more.

Another type of furniture that can be decorated with this piece is a side table, as long as it is not made of brass or copper to avoid saturation of the same element in the decoration. Tables with ironwork bases and glass tops are perfect, but they can be made of another material such as wood and marble or another combination of your choice. If you are looking for a more minimalist decoration you can add a complementary decorative object such as a plaster or ceramic figure or any other material. Adding a plant is never a bad idea, but it will depend on the style you want to achieve.

Copper bottle

Now we are going to talk about a very common kitchen utensil and that really almost none of us would consider to decorate, but it so happens that this product made of copper has the ability to decorate a bookcase or shelf and far from looking bad looks great, we refer to the cups, we decided to take them out of the kitchen and propose them as a really alternative decoration for other places in the home, perhaps in the living room or in the study, that will be your decision.

In the image below you can see a couple of them placed in one of the divisions of a bookcase made of wood, what do you think?

Tazas artesanales
